"A Cat Had a Birthday" is a Sesame Street song about a cat and other animals having a birthday, where they make various animal sounds.
This song was originally sung by David on the 1977 album Happy Birthday from Sesame Street.
It was later sung on the show by the cast (Olivia, Luis, Bob, Maria, and Gordon) in Episode 2084, then by Kingston Livingston III in a season 26 insert. (First: Episode 3331)
