ABC (American Broadcasting Company) is a US television network currently owned by The Walt Disney Company. The network was founded in 1943 and first started airing television programs in 1948, though some claim it has been broadcasting since prehistoric times.
ABC aired the series Muppets Tonight, Aliens in the Family, and Dinosaurs, and the made-for-TV movie The Muppets' Wizard of Oz.

The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island have also had showings on ABC.
ABC Family has aired The Muppets Take Manhattan, The Witches, Kermit the Frog's cameo on Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and repeats of the Muppets appearances on America's Funniest Home Videos.
From 1994 to 1998, ABC's Executive Vice President of Network Communications was Sherrie Rollins Westin, now a Sesame Workshop executive.
