On The Muppet Show, "50 Ways ... " was sung by Floyd and Janice in episode 511. They were backed by Animal on drums and Rizzo the Rat on cymbals.

  • Variations of the song's title were a running gag throughout the Paul Simon episode. During the cold open, Paul Simon says that he knows "Fifty Ways to Love Your Lever," Rowlf asks Floyd and Janice during the song if it's actually "50 Ways to Love Your Lever," and in the Veterinarian's Hospital sketch, Dr. Bob says that he plans to operate on Gonzo while mentioning a Paul Simon song..."50 Ways to Leave Your Liver."
