Variations of this songs title seemed to be a running gag in that epsiode. During the cold opening, Paul Simon says that he knows "Fifty Ways to Love Your Lever", Rowlf asked Floyd and Janice during the song if it's actually "Fifty Ways To Love Your Lever", and in that episode's Veterinarians Hospital sketch, Dr. Bob said that he'd operate by mentioning a Paul Simon song... "Fifty Ways To Lose Your Liver".
