'80s Robot is a new character in the upcoming movie, The Muppets. He bears an uncanny resemblance to R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy), a robot toy made for the Nintendo Entertainment System by Nintendo, and was first glimpsed in the movie's teaser trailer, Being Green. He appeared once again in the official trailer for the movie, in which he was seen in a crowd of Muppets as well as driving the Muppets' cramped rental car.
